Salone del Mobile Milano 2003 – In dust we trust

In the context of the exhibition “In dust we trust” for “Industreal” which was based on the idea that products could be directly manufactured by rapid prototyping methods skipping all middlemen between the dseigner and the final product I designed a collection of necklaces (impossible to produce in any other way)

“The revolution of a section around an axis creates a ring. Three rings form a sphere, the spheres interfere, twenty-one interfering spheres become jewellery.”
“I have designed a formula rather than a single object. This formula creates new jewellery each time I modify the section of the ring.”
